Crash Bandicoot

The Crash Bandicoot Desktop Toy was produced in 1998 for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, as a promotional tool for the Crash Bandicoot 2 game and the then recently launched Playstation Europe site.

This Toy was based on a short animation of Crash dancing, produced by Naughty Dog, the game's developers. Sony wanted this animation to be converted into a number of responses to commands given to the Toy. This is why the Toy features such bizarre commands as "Pelvic Thrust", "Foot Stomp" and "Jiggle" !

This Toy also supports Voice Recognition, using Microsoft's Command and Control software. You can issue commands to Crash via a microphone with no need to train the system to your voice.

To use Voice Recognition, download and install Command and Control, then download the Voice Server software and place it in the same folder as the Toy.
